About me
Hi, my name is Michael Quinteros! I am a freshman at Wesleyan University majoring in Chemistry and the College of Integrative Sciences. I am interested in pursuing research opportunities in Chemistry, and Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Currently, I am part of Prof. Padilla-Benavides’ lab where I am researching the role of the copper ion in energy production. I love to code, be in the lab, play soccer, and more importantly keep learning!
I am a Wesleyan Student Assembly Senator serving in the Student Budget Committee and I am part of the medical clubs here on campus which play a crucial part in my career of becoming a doctor. I was born in Ecuador but I live in Yonkers, New York.
